Sales Performance Dashboard for a Retail Chain

As part of the Advanced Certification Course in Power BI at TGC Animation & Multimedia, learners developed a comprehensive Sales Performance Dashboard designed for a multi-regional retail chain. This project involved the end-to-end creation of an interactive Power BI dashboard that enabled stakeholders to monitor sales trends, identify high-performing products, and evaluate regional sales performance over defined time periods. Students worked with raw transactional data and applied Power Query for data cleaning and transformation. They built efficient data models using relationships and DAX functions to calculate key performance indicators such as revenue growth, average order value, and sales contribution by category. Advanced visualization techniques were employed, including dynamic charts, slicers, and drill-down capabilities, allowing users to derive actionable insights and support strategic planning. The final dashboard served as a decision-support tool tailored for executives and regional managers.

Human Resource Analytics Dashboard

Human Resource Analytics Dashboard, focused on transforming HR data into meaningful insights to support workforce planning and management. Participants were provided with datasets encompassing employee demographics, recruitment and attrition history, departmental structures, and training records. Using Power BI, students created a centralized dashboard capable of analyzing employee turnover trends, retention rates, training effectiveness, and diversity indicators. They utilized advanced DAX measures to derive metrics such as attrition by tenure, training ROI, and departmental performance benchmarking. The dashboard incorporated interactive elements including filters, cards, and conditional formatting to allow HR leaders to monitor key trends in real time. Through this project, learners demonstrated a deep understanding of how business intelligence tools can be applied to optimize human capital management and align HR strategies with organizational goals.
